Salome, The Personification of Adolescent Immorality.

Salome was the daughter of Herodias, the second wife of Herod. She was encouraged by her mother to help secure the execution of John the Baptist. Salome is famous for her "dance of the seven veils."

Restorers' Comment: Her original dress and platter with the head of John the Baptist were missing and had to be completely remade. Much of her jewelry was also replaced.
